The current President of TDL GLOBAL VENTURES, LLC, is Todd Lubar. Mr. Todd Lubar has lived on the eastern coast of the United States since childhood. He graduated from Syracuse University, with a B.A. in speech communication, in 1995. He’s also Senior Vice President of Charter Funding, a charity organization aimed at helping those in need.
Shortly after graduating, he began his career in real estate. Real estate seemed to be a career that interested him and involved helping others. He quickly discovered how much he loved every aspect of the industry. From his first job, he knew he belonged in real estate.
According to Angel.co, he started as a loan originator at Crestar Mortgage Corporation. He learned a lot of invaluable skills and knowledge while working for Crestar. He also became an expert on conservative mortgage banking. This knowledge would prove to be a vital experience in Lubar’s future.
In 1999, Lubar accepted an equity position at Legacy Financial Group. This would turn out to be the first step toward his current career. His new position allowed him to expand and explore new lending methods. He took a special interest in brokering loans to outside investors. He could even lend the same way a direct mortgage bank lends out.
After gaining years of experience at Legacy, he left and started his own company. Legendary Properties, LLC, is a residential development company. His new company focused on buying, rehabbing, and selling properties for profit.
After opening his own firm, Lubar began forming relationships with people who have experience in all the areas of the building process that he can’t do on his own. His business relationships are the reason that he’s able to produce such high-quality products in a timely manner.
Eventually, Lubar would set his sights on the Baltimore area. The real estate crisis impacted the Baltimore area harder than nearly any other area on the east coast. But, in recent years, the industry has begun showing signs of recovery. In April, the foreclosure rate dropped to 7 percent, much lower than the previous year’s foreclosure rate.
As people like Todd Lubar come into the area, more and more people are regaining confidence about being a homeowner.
