Today, she is one of the leading real estate producers in central Ohio, working with RE/MAX in Pickerington, just Southeast of Columbus, Ohio. When asked in a recent interview just how she became so successful and how she stays that way, she replied that she loves her work and that she is passionate about helping families find the right house for their purposes and the right price.
Tammy pointed out that like anything that is worthwhile, the real estate business takes lots of effort and hard work, but there are certain principles and things that you do that will just about assure success if a person does them. Early in her career, she was just a little shy when it came to asking people difficult questions such as their financial condition. It is important for a realtor to know if a prospect has the money to put money down on the house and whether they can afford payments.
That is when a fellow realtor told her to just ask the questions, no matter what anyone thought, because she needed the information to decide who to work with. A realtor has to work with interested and capable prospects, or she soon would be out of the business. Tammy tried the strategy, and it worked, so she never had that problem again.
Tammy says she is like a sponge in that she took to heart what others taught her and when she put things into practice she kept doing what worked. She puts in a full day and the key showing houses as much as possible to capable candidates. More details can be found on LinkedIn.
