Daniel Taub – A Leader On The Path Of Resolution

Daniel Taub is an Israelian Diplomat and International Lawyer originally born in Britain. Daniel had attended University College Oxford and University College London. Following this, he was a student at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.

Daniel moved to Isreal in 1989. From there on, he served in the Israeli Defense Forces as a combat medic as well as a reserve officer in the international law division. Three years following this, Daniel joined the Israeli Foreign Ministry. His position in the ministry led him to hold many legal and diplomatic positions.

Along with this, Daniel has written a book known as the Parasha Diplomatit. The book was written to give details on each of the sections of the Torah.

Aside from writing, he is the creator of an Israelian drama series called HeChatzer. His knowledge in law has led him to lecture on International Law and his negotiation theory.

From 2011 to 2015, Daniel Taub served as the Israelian Ambassador in the United Kingdom. This role brought great success to the relationship between the United Kingdom and Isreal. During his role as an Ambassador, Daniel had overseen a double in trade and a strengthening in business, culture, and education between the two countries.

In 2015, it was seen that the total trade between the two countries was at its highest rate. During this time, over 300 Israeli businesses had been operating within the United Kingdom. Along with this, the annual bilateral trade was over $5.5 billion.

During his time as ambassador, Daniel Taub had served as a peace negotiator. Due to this, he traveled to Northern Ireland to learn more about the Isreal and Palestine relationship from a Palestinian himself. Along with this, he worked with college campuses in the U.K. to relieve tension. His goal as an ambassador and peace negotiator was to create a space where both sides could express their opinions freely.
